Spike & Ed Songs
Spike teamed up with Ed Bloomfield to gig and perform on local radio and TV for fifteen years in the seventies and eighties.

Musical influences
Our music reflects various folk genres, from music hall to traditional styles, bluegrass and country tinged material. Ed likes James Taylor and John Denver, whereas I grew up with the likes of Hank Williams, Jack Elliott, Woody Guthrie, E C Ball and Paul Clayton (not forgetting skiffle).

What equipment do you use?
Martin D35, Gibson J45, Levin flattop, Washburn mandolin, open back banjo and a rig with harmonica, duck whistles, siren and kazoo.
